YOUR FAVORITE MTL COMEDIAN!!! CJ cites comedians such as Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, Russell Peters, Sarah Silverman, Mitch Hedberg, Sugar Sammy, Steven Wright, Jim Carrey and Adam Sandler as his favorite influences. His first time opening for a touring comedian was Don Burnstick in his home town of Chisasibi, QC. in 2014.
He once again got on stage in 2022, in Winnipeg Manitoba at a comedy show hosted by CTV’s Acting Good star Paul Rabliauskas.
In 2023, CJ moved to Montréal to pursue stand up comedy full time in the local scene and during this time he’s performed for well known promoters such as Montreal Comedy Club and for venues such as The Comedy Nest and Crescent Street’s 3rd Floor Comedy Club.
CJ’s material derives from his experiences with racism, the colonial perspective of ‘Indigenous’, and his acute observations and comparisons of city life to rez life. CJ is also a participant of the infamous Roast Battle League.
